Confined Spaces
This course provides an overview of the key aspects of working in or around confined spaces, emphasising the unique risks involved and the need for careful management to ensure safety. It covers relevant legal requirements, hazard identification, risk assessment processes, and effective control measures. Learners will gain a clear understanding of their responsibilities under the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 and the critical importance of proper training and adherence to best practices. Lessons drawn from real-life incidents further highlight the severe consequences of non-compliance.
Please note: This course must be used in conjunction with the Permit to Work Documents available on the Health and Safety Documents page of the Portal.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
